“What should we wear?”
Opt for Soft Tones: Shades like beige, ivory, gray, and soft pastels are excellent choices. These colors are flattering and won’t distract from the main focus – you.
Avoid Bold Patterns: Stick to solids or subtle patterns that don’t draw attention away from your face and expressions.
Prioritize Comfort: Choose outfits that you feel at ease in. Comfort translates into confidence, which will reflect in your photos.
Coordinate, Don’t Match: If you’re doing a group or family photoshoot, aim for coordinated outfits rather than matching ones. Choose a color palette and have everyone pick outfits that fit within it, creating a harmonious yet diverse look.
Timeless over Trendy: Opt for timeless pieces that won’t look dated in a few years. Classic styles will ensure your photos remain appealing for years to come.

What does the flow of a typical session look like?
In a typical session, we’ll meet one another and begin the session with a few questions on what you’re looking to receive out of the session. We’ll walk & talk, take super fun photos, capture you and yours authentically. That’s usually how things roll.
How do I get the photos after our session?
1-2 weeks after our session together you will receive an email directly to the email you used to book. There will be the gallery of your edited, downloadable photos. You have the printing rights to these photos as well as the ability to use my printing services directly from your gallery. Please, for the love of art, tag me when you post on social media @visualstorytellingco. And do not add any additional filter to my photos. Thanks in advance.
